Built for people who want clarity, not clutter, in their portfolio
Stoneferry began as a simple frustration: tracking holdings across several exchanges meant juggling tabs, spreadsheets, and half-finished mental math. We set out to build the single view we wished we had — one that respects both the complexity of the market and the limited time most people actually have for it.
Our starting point
Stoneferry was founded on a straightforward premise: strategic investing shouldn't require constant attention. Parents managing family finances, professionals with full schedules, and anyone balancing a portfolio against a busy life deserve tools that work quietly in the background and surface what actually matters.
Rather than adding another app to check, we focused on building a dashboard that consolidates — pulling data from multiple exchanges into one coherent picture, so decisions can be made with context instead of guesswork.
Give people their time back without asking them to give up control
Everything we build is measured against one question: does this make portfolio management simpler, or does it just add noise?
Consolidate first
Unify exchanges and asset types into a single dashboard so there's one place to look, not five.
Explain the signal
Surface patterns and context in plain language, so insight doesn't require a finance degree to interpret.
Respect the user's time
Design every feature around minutes, not hours — because that's the budget most people actually have.
The principles behind how we build
Plain over clever
We favour straightforward explanations and clean layouts over jargon or unnecessary complexity. If a feature needs a manual, we've likely over-built it.
Transparent by default
How data is gathered and what it means should never be a mystery. We aim to make our reasoning visible, not hidden behind a black box.
Time-aware design
We design for the reality of limited attention — fewer, better signals instead of a constant stream of alerts to manage.
A small, focused group working on one problem
Stoneferry is built by a team that cares about the intersection of data, design, and everyday decision-making. We're intentionally focused — rather than chasing every feature request, we concentrate on making the core experience of monitoring a portfolio as clear and dependable as possible.
Product-led, not hype-led
Decisions about what to build come from real usage patterns and feedback, not trends. We'd rather ship something useful later than something flashy now.
Accountable to our users
We see Stoneferry as a long-term relationship with the people who rely on it, which means listening carefully and iterating honestly.
Still early, deliberately
We're a growing team, and we'd rather stay small and thoughtful while we refine the core product than scale before it's ready.
